Description

1967 Levin LN-26.

Levin was a Swedish brand beginning production in 1900. They were extremely well thought of in the guitar industry for their build quality. Before being purchased by Martin & Co in 1973, Levin made guitars for the famous Martin & Co.

This particular guitar was built in 1967 and is of the build quality (and even looks similar) to the classic era Martin, at a fraction of the price!

Service History

We pride ourselves on our inspection and set up of each guitar, making this ready to plug in and play.

Please note that this is set up to a standard “The Music Locker” deems saleable. Personal preference may differ so we cannot accept responsibility, or cost, of any extra work done after the sale.

Cosmetic Inspection

Please have a close look at the high resolution photographs below, as these form part of our description.

This is in a beautiful, aged condition. There are marks all over it, adding character to the guitar. We can't see anything significant that would affect playability, but this certainly isn't a perfect conditioned guitar. The strap button has been moved from the back of the neck heel to the side of the heel, leaving a hole as pictured. The strap button on the bottom of the body has been changed to a black type.

Originality

In our opinion, the only thing that isn't original on this are the machine heads. They have been upgraded from Van Ghent's to Grover.
