2005 Limited Edition Ernie Ball Music Man Silhouette Special Buttercream HSS w/ Tom Anderson HB

Up for sale is my 2005 Limited Edition EBMM Silhouette Special in Buttercream finish. As the decal on the back of the guitar indicates, this was part of a special run of guitars and basses in 2005 in this color combo. The Buttercream is hard to accurately capture in photos, and to be honest the pictures here show up a bit more yellow than it does to the naked eye. I tried a couple different lighting schemes to give a better sense.

Specs:

• Maple neck with thick rosewood fingerboard
• Gunstock oil hand-rubbed neck finish
• Alder body
• 1 5/8″ nut width, 25.5″ scale length, 10″ neck radius, 22 frets
  
• Dimarzio custom single coil pickups (neck and middle)
• Upgraded bridge humbucker to a Tom Anderson (original Dimarzio included)
• Two point vintage trem
• Schaller M6-IND locking tuners
• Active silent circuit for the single coil pickup

Overall, the condition is excellent, with only one tiny ding (as pictured). Frets show very little wear and are nice and tall for easy playability. The neck is straight and the guitar recently received a professional setup with Ernie Ball 10's, with action set to 4/64" at the 12th fret (relief @ .010" under string tension). The oil rubbed neck finish on these EBMM guitars is extremely comfortable, and fast.

The guitar sounds great and can truly cover just about any ground you can think of. Nails the strat tones in the neck/middle potions, and the Tom Anderson humbucker has tons of low end without sacrificing clarity. Great combo with the Dimarzio single coils, but the original Virtual PAF is included in the case if preferred. 

This guitar comes with the original limited edition hard case, trem bar, 9v battery (for the silent circuit), and the original bridge pickup.
