Tokai Silver Star SS-38

1981 Tokai Silver Star SS-38, right from the glorious Japanese 'lawsuit' era heyday. This Tokai Silver Star made in the legendary Fujigen factory is a faithful reproduction of the CBS era Stratocaster, with the features  from that time. Very comfortable and in very nice condition, with the logical use wear for a guitar this age. Original brown leather bag included

BODY: Alder
FINISH: Polyurethane. Aged white.
Neck: Maple
Bone nut.
RADIUS: 7.25 with medium jumbo stanless steel frets (NARROW)
BRIDGE: Diego Deluxe by Rockinger (includes original Ayers Rock bridge (Floyd Rose style))
PICKUPS: Tokai original single coil.
CONTROLS: F5-way Switch, Volume, Neck Tone, Center / Bridge Tone.

Improvements / modifications:

- Exclusive Diego Deluxe classic tremolo style bridge with full size block by Rockinger. This bridge is very comfortable and sounds great. The arm is adjusted with an allen key on the side of the bridge to leave it in the position.

- A bullet screw has also been ornamentally added. The bullet can be removed to adjust the truss rod.

- Stainless steel frets. Slim medium jumbo. Comfortable bendings and always clean, like new ones.

- Custom made bone nut

- All pots, wiring and three-position switch replaced by a Fender 5-way switch. Electronics were replaced for a modern style with a master volume, tone for the neck pickup and shared tone between the center and bridge pickups.
