Offered for sale is one of only 400 guitars made from the last of the 13 original "Liberty Trees".
This limited edition guitar's back and sides were crafted from the last remaining Liberty Tree, a tulip poplar, which was cut down in Annapolis, Maryland in 1999 due to damage from Hurricane Floyd. The guitar features stunning inlays of the Declaration of Independence, a Stars and Stripes banner and 13 stars around the sound hole. It also has a 13-star flag on the headstock as well as abalone purfling around the top. While each Liberty Tree Guitar has a top crafted of hand-picked Sitka Spruce with an antique stain, each guitar has its own unique sides and back, owing to the limited supply of the tulip poplar. The guitar offered has a 2-piece back, with an exceptionally nice pattern.
