Selling my lightly-used 24” HH King. I bought it new in 2016. Only gigged with it once. It has a mellow, woody stick sound, a monster bell, and endless definition, but it’s on the dry side so I had it professionally drilled for 4 rivets (they are Bosphorus brass splits). The dark tone of it reminds me a bit of Tony’s ride on the ’64 sessions, but drier. The rivets make it really cool for Jazz, not over the top but gives it a nice pad that was missing due to the dryness.

NOTE: some later photos show only 2 rivets: this is because i staggered installation because i wasn't sure how far to take it. All 4 are in the cymbal at this time.

I’m selling because my ears are moving in a different direction. As always, let me know if any questions!

NOTE: temporarily changed to local pickup only as I’m not able to ship items at this time.
