You're looking at a rare 2004 Fender Lite Ash Tele in natural finish in excellent + condition. These are just stunning guitars to look at. All kinds of crazy woodgrain showing through on the body and then the birdseye maple neck--it's really something else. These guitars were dreamed up by the Fender Japan Custom Shop but produced in Korea only for a couple years. Based on classic 52' style specs, the guitar has a 50's style single ply black pickguard, ashtray bridge with brass saddles, classic control plate with rounded-top control knobs and 3-way selector switch. The neck is a real piece of art: a 2-piece birdseye maple sporting 22 medium jumbo frets and beautiful abalone dot inlays and a comfy C-profile--it's super chunky feeling, not your average Tele neck. The headstock features a Fender gold spaghetti logo and two Fender string trees for improved performance, as well as Gotoh designed tuners. Two Seymour Duncan pickups round out the package (APTR-1 Alnico Pro2 in neck and APTL-1 Alnico Pro2 in the bridge). This guitar has been played very little. No marks or dings to speak of except one tiny patch on the lower back (see pics). Very hard to see. And a small finish crack at the neck joint. No case. Thanks for looking!
