This listing is a Vintage 1964 Epiphone by Gibson Olympic-Melody Maker. The guitar has been completed refinished so the logo is missing but the serial number is clear on the back of the headstock and dates to 1964. The headstock shape indicates this was originally an Olympic model. The guitar has been refinished and modified but is a killer player and sounds very good. Almost all the parts are changed. The humbucker is a Japanese made 1970's Humbucker of some type. The bridge, tuners and knobs are also changed. The pickguard is original but modified to fit the humbucker. The finish has been removed and the guitar has been sanded. The guitar has been set up and plays great. The neck is straight and the action is low and comfortable. This is a really fun lightweight axe. The guitar comes with a gig bag and will be expertly packed for safe shipping. Please look at the pictures and email with questions.
