This is a reissue of genuine Jabberwock hide - with frabjously intimidating lizard-birdy grain on it. I have no idea where this nasty beast once resided, 'neath the tum-tum tree, or who hunted it down, but I sure as heck wouldn't want to tangle with fierce jaws that bite, nor claws that catch.

Strap is dark chocolate brown, with just a hint of warm red and has a ton of beastly texture! I saw hide (actually embossed cowhide) it and said to myself, this is the same colour so many pauls are finished in on the back and sides, so it would go great with those in particular. This leather also looks absolutely spot on with tort pickguards, so if you want to accent that on your guitar, this strap is one that will do it perfectly.

I made these so they will go long if you are a low slinger - adjusts between 46" approx 58" long and just over 3" wide. Not really "Jabberwock skin" it is genuine cowhide leather, about 3 oz. thick that has been embossed with this crazy big pebbled grain into it with great texture, and s semi-gloss shine. I rolled the edges for smoothness against your neck, and the pattern on it sexy semi-gloss finish with just a bit of glitter when you move in the light. ON the front and back end, I put THICK black heavy leather for the nose, adjustment ladder and tail strap to set these apart from other guitar straps. This strap heavy duty and will last a long time.

It's an elegant, yet still kind of badass strap suiting performance in most any genre. I put memory foam padding in the shoulder, which compresses kind of perfect for ultimate comfort, particularly for long playing sessions, or heavier guitars. Read my feedbacks all about that. 

I say well-padded, I mean at least two times the padding other so-called "padded" straps have. However, understand my straps do NOT have a "michelin man mono-blumpy" look on your shoulder. They just look great, feel right. Most so-called padded straps you see from big name use way less padding, sometimes really stiff foam that doesn't compress properly.

Inside lining adding to the lizardy flavour here i put tan corduroy upholstery fabric, but placed it sideways, so that it looks like asnake belly! Putting it on this way also gives this strap a real nice grip effect that will resist any guitar necks from diving or wandering and will last a long time. It's also also stain and fire resistant!

Bottom line: You will not find a 3" wide padded comfort strap with this quality, this padding and coolness anywhere else. Check my reviews, those in my Well-Hung army tell the story better than I.  Looking forward to having YOU add your words along with the others so purchase with confidence.
