A 32-20 Custom Guitars Exclusive:
*IF YOU WANT TO HEAR THE  GUITAR, SEND A MESSAGE REQUESTING THE SOUNDCLOUD LINK*

You have never seen, heard or played an instrument like this in your entire life. This one-of-a-kind resonator just has to be heard to be believed.

We started with a beautiful Mahogany Epiphone Biscuit pie-plate style round neck resonator guitar and wondered, "can we make the ultimate blues and roots machine"?

Well, here's what happened next:
We hand-cut (no power tools) in a Gibson PAF Classic 57, Gold plated humbucker into the neck position. Then, using high quality 500K tone and volume pots, we wired the top of the guitar in the style of an old Gibson J-160e and finished them off with gold knurled knobs to match the humbucker. To finish it off, we cut in a Switchcraft 1/4" jack into the edge of the guitar (in an typical telecaster position).

What came next? Kind of shocking.

While this guitar is what you'd expect: a blues machine built from the ground up for delta slide, there is something else that was delightfully amazing. This guitar has the tonal ability to sound like a big-box jazz guitar with some defining sparkle and definition from the resonator cone. It can play BB King-esque blues, while sounding like The Black Keys, Black Pistol Fire while harkening back to a Mississippi John Hurt tone. Then, just to keep you on your toes, it can handle a crunchy Kenny Burrell tone (think Midnight Blue). It is hard to describe just how cool this guitar sounds.

And, since it was an acoustic to begin with, you can still mic it up and get amazing singing, clanging chimes of an acoustic resonator. The closest comparison for tone that I can give it: a pre-war resonator with the soul of a Les Paul stuck in neck position.

Comes with padded Hardshell Case.

As a handmade product, this guitar is sold as-is. There are no blemished on the guitar aside from the natural wearing of the wood and  the chrome sound well cover and 2 dents on the edge of the headstock presumably from a guitar hook in the original guitar store. If you would like the cone buffed out before placing your order, just message me. I really like the "worn" look, so I left it as is.
