This K Douglas USA Acer Modern is built from:

Body: Solid Alder body (full thickness), in a distressed, white poly/natural finish

Neck: Canadian Maple Neck, Canadian Maple Fretboard, Modern 'C' profile, 15" Radius, Smooth unfinished back


Tuners: Locking Tuners


Pickups: Kiesel USA Custom Shop single coil in the bridge position, 
Fender USA Texas Special single coil in the neck, K Douglas middle 
position single coil pickup

Electronics etc: Tortoise Shell Pickguard, Standard Affinity wiring 
harness, tone control modification; wired to adjust all pickups (tone 
1-neck pickup tone control, tone 2-middle/bridge pickup tone control)


Bridge: Fender USA Bridge Assembly, with Stainless steel saddles and full sized trem block


This guitar features the K Douglas body-carve making the guitar super light, comfortable and resonant. 

The
neck has had the gloss sanded off and finished. The frets have been 
leveled and re-crowned and the fret board has been cleaned, rolled, 
polished and finished, making it much more fast and comfortable.

The guitar has received a meticulous tune-up and set-up; it plays perfect.

The pickups are overall a hotter single coil sound, especially in the neck and bridge- very clear and articulate.

The neck has a modern 'C' shape, it feels fast, but not small, super smooth unfinished back of neck and fretboard,


The guitar plays and intonates great and sounds sweet clean, crunchy or with distortion.

This guitar has some scratches and 'patina' from its previous 
incarnation as well as a couple of minor blemishes due to the 
redesign/rebuild (see pictures). 

Note: The neck has been shimmed. It is barely noticeable aesthetically and not noticeable from a play-ability standpoint.
