This 2011 Brubaker KXG-1 Electric Guitar is a one-of-a-kind instrument handcrafted by master luthier Kevin Brubaker, from Brubaker Guitars. The custom cost could have been well over $6000.

It is, quite simply, a remarkable instrument.

Look and design:

This particular KXG-1 is a stunningly beautiful guitar. The body is Sapele mahogany and features a maple waterfall burl top. The neck is also Sapele with a Ziricote fingerboard.

The cats-eye f-holes add to the unique style, and it is actually a headless instrument: the tuners are down by the bridge.

The photos don’t do it justice: this instrument is truly a work of art…

Condition:

This guitar is in excellent condition: it is absolutely pristine. The pictures speak for themselves.

Speedloader Tremelo:

This guitar has a Floyd Rose Speedloader Tremolo.

The Floyd Rose Speedloader Tremolo was an AWESOME idea: whenever you break a string, it takes less than a minute to reload and tune a new one. NO guitar tuners on the headstock – just fine-tuning on the bridge. It requires special strings with bulleted ends which are precisely cut and don’t stretch.

The strings for the Speedloader Tremolo are no longer manufactured and replacements are hard to find, so please keep that in mind if you decide to purchase this instrument.
