Here is a beautiful 2005 Tom Bill Genesis in mastergrade redwood and east Indian rosewood, with beautiful koa and ebony accents.  I have owned too many great guitars to count and can honestly say I've never heard anything quite like this guitar.  The sound is phenomenally powerful and clear and to me it is somewhat Somogyi-esque but with quicker attack and less bloom.  It is an earlier Genesis model so, which I think is somewhat bigger and deeper, which adds to it's extremely rich tone and power, but it remains beautifully balanced.  Tom's waitlist now extends 2-3 years and his guitars start at $25,000, so this is a great opportunity to skip the line and save lots of money!

The guitar itself is in very good condition, with just a little bit of finish bubbling near the 10/11 o'clock position by the bridge and two small dings on the top that do not break the finish.  There is, however, some areas of finish on the bottom of the sides where it appears to have reacted (perhaps to a guitar stand).  On either side of the endpin, there are vertical finish flaws toward the top and below them are some areas of droplet sized flaws.  The previous owner told me that the finish is French Polish, and easily repairable, but this was built around the time that Tom switched from nitrocellulose to FP and I have not confirmed with him.  It looks to me like it could be buffed out or repaired, but it never bothered me enough to investigate.  I have tried my best to point out all the flaws, but if you have any questions or need specific pictures, please feel free to send me a message.  The tweed Cedar Creek Case does the job and is in excellent condition.

This very guitar was sold at Guitar Gallery at one point, so the video link is from there, but it is indeed the same guitar.  The recording is rather poor representation of the tone in my opinion, but I have included it anyway because I lack the hardware (or skill to be honest) to make an adequate recording.  It also was sold by Dream Guitars, where you can find great pictures (though their recording is even worse) at: dreamguitars.com/shop/bills-genesis.html

Here's my disclaimer I include with all listings:
I do my best to describe my guitars accurately and provide more photos of any blemishes than of the entire guitar.  I do not believe in providing pictures that hide any condition issues, or those that conveniently crop out any problems.  Because of this, my items are sold completely as-is, with no option to return whatsoever.  I sell all of my guitars this way to avoid buyers just looking to try out high end guitars and to avoid unnecessary shipping back and forth.  If you cannot agree to these terms, please do not place an order...check my feedback if you have any concerns.

Please message with any questions.  International buyers, please message prior to placing an order for an accurate shipping quote and to ensure that this guitar can be shipped to your country.
