Fair condition and vintage ‘60’s folk vibe Silvertone tenor 4-string acoustic guitar, possibly the Model 661. Probably manufactured by Kay circa 1964 or 1965, Silvertone made tenor acoustics for 2 years in response to the popularity of folk music in the early ’60s.

This is a solid instrument that is playable. With only a slight increase in the action up the neck this is playable up and down the fretboard. This currently has nylon strings on it, 19 frets on a rosewood fretboard. ~ 23” scale length, 39” total length, dreadnought style body. The bridge is stable on the top. There is a very thin surface crack behind the bridge.

Cosmetically there are some areas of discoloration on the bottom and age-appropriate scratches and nicks. There is an ink stamp inside: L 8974. This is tuned to DGBE and plays fine.

Please ask any and all questions, tenor guitars are not my area of expertise, selling this as-is :)
