2004 LaBella fretless acoustic bass guitar. Designed in U.S.A. by Richard Cocco of LaBella and handmade in Spain. Short (29.5”) scale. Cedar top, rosewood body, mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard. Fishman ProBlend electronics include bridge piezo and an internal microphone which can be blended onboard. Uses nylon-core silver wound strings that tie at the bridge (classical style). (Strings are made by made by Pyramid, LaBella, or Hannabach.) Hard shell custom fit case with strap attachments. This bass has no side dot position markers. It does not have a truss rod because it uses nylon-core low-tension strings and does not require one. This is virtually a one of a kind item...the serial numbers started at 101, this is number 121, and most of the few that were made were fretted models. If you know what this rare bird is, you know what it is.
