Blues Vintage Guitars Inc. of Nashville, Tennessee is proud to offer this late 1990s or early 2000 Danelectro DC-12 12-string electric guitar with an absolutely stunning Purple Sparkle finish. There simply is NOT another 12-string electric guitar on the market today for this low a price. If you’re looking for a 12-string electric guitar that not only plays great but sounds “jangly” spectacular, then you’ve just hit the jackpot. And on top of all that, you get one of the most original finishes in the history of guitars – Purple Sparkle may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but this one just catches your eye. It’s not too much, but just right.

The DC-12 is one of the Danelectro reissue guitars the company came out with in the late 1990s. Many Danelectro enthusiasts consider these reissues as the company’s finest reissue of all, and especially the ones made in Korea. Well, this one was made in Korea, not China, and is a GREAT guitar all the way around. It shows very light signs of use, and was previously owned by a very well-known Nashville producer. It was used countless times in his studio by a variety of very well-known artists. Suffice to say you may have already "heard" this the classic “jangle” 12-strong tone of this guitar on some of the songs you hear on the radio today! Overall condition is EXCELLENT.

This totally cool DC-12 comes with a pair of Lipstick Tube-style pickups with original formula 50s-style Alnico magnets. There are also dual/concentric “stacked Master Volume and Tone controls, and a 3-way toggle switch that round out the electronics. You’ll also find a Hard Maple bolt-on neck with a Rosewood fingerboard, plus a fully adjustable bridge that allows you to properly setup the individual string intonation yourself. There also a set of oh-so-smoooth Gotoh tuners, and a non-original black gig bag that comes with the guitar.
