About This Listing

Maton EA808 "The Australian". This classic guitar features a newly tuned, scalloped braced Bunya top with refined solid select grain Blackwood back and sides. The backs have been radiused to help create a greater tonal spectrum with focus on classic Maton earthy tones resulting in more bottom end response. The Neck has been upgraded to solid Blackwood timber and in keeping with the “Australian” theme, now has a Desert Acacia (Mulga) fingerboard and Bridge. Finally the Australian series now comes with the NEW Maton UV cured paint finish – a finer coat for a finer tone. A new MOP Australian Decal adorns this exciting guitar. Includes hardshell case.
