Handmade in Pittsburgh, the RPS Effects Arcade Machine is a PLL-based analog synth / harmonizer pedal. It latches onto your input frequency, and re-synthesizes it as a square wave, which produces a rich, rounded synth tone. But that's only the beginning... 1 and 2 octaves down, 1 and 2 octaves up, plus an interval of your choosing, are all at your fingertips, essentially resulting in a 6-voice synthesizer, that you can control with your guitar, bass, or other instrument.
As far as RPS Effects knows, this is the ONLY analog synth / harmonizer available, that can give you all of the intervals in a 12-tone scale. With an expression pedal input, (expression pedals sold separately), that takes over the interval selection and also accepts control voltage (CV), the true potential of having all of those notes can be unlocked with the Arcade Machine pedal. A sequencer can also be used, to run through a series of notes, that will automatically follow your playing. This allows you to program in anything, from simple trills, to arpeggios, to full melodies.

Vibrato is also available in the RPS Arcade Machine, which acts on all of the voices. It has controls for Depth and Rate, spanning the range from subtle pitch variation, to full-on glitched-out retro computer sounds!

Like all PLL-based effects, the Arcade Machine is monophonic, meaning it only works (well) with one note at a time on the input. As for the 'tracking' of that note, the controls were made as user-friendly as possible, with just a single knob, Gate, determining the sensitivity.

CONTROLS:

• Octaves: These let you blend it different octaves of the original note. Knobs are: -2 OCT, -1 OCT, 0 OCT, +2 OCT, +1 OCT
• Bottom Middle Knob: Allows you to choose the musical interval, with the historically known diminished 5th or tri-tone (devil's tone "666") in the middle.
• Interval (INT): Lets you set the volume of the interval you select on the bottom middle knob.
• Gate: Lets you adjust the sensitivity.
• Level: Lets you adjust the level of the effect.
• Depth: Lets you add vibrato intensity.
• Rate: Lets you adjust the vibrato rate (speed).

OTHER FEATURES:

• True Bypass: Your signal remains untouched when the pedal is off.
• Soft Click Switch: More modern, and does not make a click noise to turn the pedal on and off.
