Basically Brand New Avid S6 M40 32 Channel Console. This S6 was purchased from an Avid retailer in August 2014 but wasn’t assembled until September 2016. It was intended for a studio that decided on another direction so was never put into service. It has been switched on and configured with all firmware updates and version 2_2 S6 software but other than that has seen no use and is in absolutely mint condition.

It is the 5 knob version of the S6 with the 4 TFT screens. It comes with the new X-Mon monitoring system that has never been switched on.

It has never been registered so all of the registration cards for the hardware and manuals are intact and ready for the next owner to register. The CPU has been authenticated to our Avid account as there is no way to be able to install the S6 software and firmware updates without doing so but this is easily transferable to the next owner.

The only caveat with this sale is that we no longer have the original boxes but a custom made crate has been built for it for shipping. The advantage of this is there will be no lengthy re- assembly needed by the buyer, it will be essentially plug-and-play.

Payment will need to be by bank transfer. We will not accept Paypal for an amount this large.

Shipping will be by ground freight service (carrier to be decided by destination) and the cost will be the responsibility of the buyer. Will only sell to the lower 48 as shipping overseas would be prohibitively expensive.

This is a truly amazing console, unlike anything else out there in terms of it’s capabilities. It works seamlessly with Pro Tools 11, 12 and up as well as Logic X, Pyramix and others.
