Behind its humble appearance and all plastic casing, the Ken Multi Mod-7 Overdrive conceals an all hand-wired circuit built around a Sony 4558 chip (so, the same as the legendary JRC)
It's full, bright, noisy and extremely useable. Think TS-9 with roid rage.
This very same pedal was sold under several other brand names, as was common at the time. It's the same, but internally and externally as the Aria AOD-1.
Every thing works the way it should. The battery compartment and, sadly, lost one of its clips but that doesn't stop it from working the way it should and one knob has lost its top but that shouldn't distract from its Lo-Fi awesomeness.
