Based on the iconic Ernie Ball BFR Majesty models, the Sterling by Music Man John Petrucci Majesty combines Music Man spec components with great attention to detail to bring you a high quality precision built instrument at an incredible price point.
The Sterling by Music Man JP MAJ100X has a lightweight, highly contoured Mahogany body with a set neck design that is built to allow unfettered access to the entire 24-fret Rosewood fretboard. The ultra thin 3 piece Mahogany neck is extremely comfortable to play and extremely fast, ideal for progressive metal, djent, shred or hard rock.
The Majesty 100X’s tone comes from the combination of its Mahogany body with two Music Man spec humbucker pickups that are designed to provide a crushing rhythm tone and gain-heavy lead tones, perfect for Petrucci’s fast paced work on the fretboard. The Majesty also offers a 12dB push-push frequency boost on the volume control, allow you to switch instantly from rhythm to lead settings at the push of volume control.
No metal or shred guitar would be complete without a great tremolo system, so the Sterling by Music Man JPMAJ100X comes with a Music Man spec modern floating tremolo system that is super smooth and incredibly dynamic, allowing you to do all of the tremolo tricks that your heart desires with Sterling locking tuning machines to keep it all in tune no matter how aggressively you play.
