2004 Fender Custom Shop ‘62 Stratocaster NOS - California Beach Ltd Edition - Catalina Blue

Gorgeous Fender Custom Shop '62 Strat in the very rare limited edition ‘Catalina Blue’ NOS finish. It has lots of character and has some beautiful subtle lacquer checking on close inspection - it’s stunning. 

This was a very Limited edition guitar made for ‘Music Messe 2004’ and is 1 of only 150 made in the world. The greatest concentration (100) went to Germany, with only remaining 50 spread over the rest of Europe. I have never seen another of these ever come up for sale.

Excellent condition with just a few very minor cosmetic blemishes around the neck pocket, on the headstock, and on the reverse of the guitar. It's in great shape and has just been in for a professional setup with Ernie Ball size 10 strings. It has a nice action and plays beautifully.

In terms of spec you get an Alder body, Maple neck with a chunky-ish '60's C-Profile that is very comfortable, 9 ½" Radius, Medium Jumbo Frets and Rosewood fingerboard.

You also get an American Vintage Synchronized Tremolo with Ash Tray Bridge Cover. Fender/Gotoh Vintage Style Tuning Machines. Vintage Chrome Hardware. 3-Ply Parchment Pickguard. Vintage Styling. Master Volume Control. 2 Tone Controls (Neck/Middle, Bridge). 5-Position Blade Pickup Selector and Custom Shop Limited Edition Decal. Finally, you get Fat '50's Custom Shop Single Coil pickups – which are absolutely stunning pickups, with great strat tone.

Comes with its premium G&G leather-bound Fender hard case, paperwork, tags, trem arm, ashtray cover, and its Certificate of Authenticity.
