Roland System 100m (1978) grey

I’m selling a rare Roland System-100M 191-J.

It’s a true analogue modular synthesizer from 1978. All faders, inputs/outputs jacks and switches have been checked, cleaned, restored, and are entirely functional. Faceplates and metal parts have been cleaned, and re-painted when needed. Due to time there still are some little marks (see pictures).

I am the second owner and do not have the keyboard. The previous one had taken out the power jack socket to adapt it to recent European electrical norms (see picture). This does not harm the synth nor disable its’ proper usage. The modification is on the rear part of the synth.

I made a special wooden case to have the correct tilt in my studio that is easily removable. The synth comes with 5 modules all of which have input or outputs attenuators and modulation :

- one system-100 112 : double VCO

- two system-100 140 : double envelope, lfo, manuel trigger/gate

- one system-100 130 : double VCA

- one system-100 121 : double lowpass VCF and fixed highpass

- the lower basket includes 9 (!!!) 3-way passive multiples, and a double 3,5 to 6,35 jack adapter (handy to speak to external gear), and the power supply. On rear picture you’ll see 2 RCA that are a copy of the main output on the front faceplate, making it easy to include in a fixed system. 

The synth weights 11,7Kg, is visible and testable in Lyon-France  I can send it abroad but this will require a close study of the transport possibilities and insurances (it’s fragile - see shipping estimation below).
