Alembic Persuader 1987 Natural

This is a great condition Alembic Persuader bass hand made in 1987. I bought it new from a mid-west music store. It has little wear from infrequent use and no fret wear. Please see the pictures as it does have a few small scratches, nothing terrible. Duel truss rods are accessed at the base of the neck. The ebony neck is neck through body, and is the same width from the nut to end of the neck. This design makes for a very comfortable and precise feel all the way up the neck. The pickups are active PJ style with a unique Q filter tone control. This gives you a great tonal range from bass to very bright treble. A nine volt battery supplies power to the electronics which has small gain pots inside the control cavity. The nut is adjustable brass as is the bridge. It will be shipped in the original non Alembic hard case which is also in very good condition and fits the bass well. The bass is registered to me at Alembic as part of their anti theft plan. I will transfer the registration to the new owner. I will ship separately all original paperwork from Alembic.
