Fender Tom Delonge Stratocaster - Galaxy Black Flake Finish by Marty Bell w/ Fender Deluxe Case

Up for sale is a genuine 2001 Fender Tom Delonge Artist Series Stratocaster that was refinished in 2019 by Marty Bell to a Galaxy Black Flake (Marty Bell Finishing). Overall, it is in good condition for a 19 year old guitar and the finish is gorgeous! Please read below and see pictures.

The body/paint is in mint condition but the neck does show its age in a few places. There are a few dings on the fret wire and the fretboard has been played on and off for almost 2 decades.

NOTE: although the neck is straight, the truss rod seems to have taken its last turn and has frozen the neck in place (straight). Depending on the type of player you are, this may be a problem. However, if you like a straight neck, you should be fine. To be clear, the truss rod turns, but is not showing to have any functional effect on the shape of the neck at all.

The clay inlays on the neck have also been replaced by black Mother of Pearl to give it a unique look.

The original pickup and wiring was replaced with a brand new Seymour Duncan Invader (B)

This guitar will also come with a Fender Deluxe Case and the original bridge. Currently only shipping to the Continental US.
