Ladies and gentlemen, here's the rarest of all rare birds. First time ever on Reverb: a Framus Soulman 4!
The Soulman basses under Framus name were made only a year or so, arond the beginning of the 2000's, when German bass powerhouse Warwick revived the Framus brand. The quantity was also very limited... just check Google, and you'll see that there might be only a few dozens of Soulmans out there.
But this particular bass is not only a very rare bird, but also a time capsule from 2004, since it's technically brand new condition - let's say new old stock -, and has all paperworks and other stuff given with it 16 years ago. It's pretty haunting, anyway.
So, this Soulman was sold in Hungary in September of 2004, and the first owner kept it in immaculate condition. I think, he'd barely played it... I've bought it from him, but I also haven't played it very much, so, it's still looks like new. The only flaw is the MEC logo on the bridge pickup is a bit worn... if we can call it a flaw. After all, this is an exceptional bass since the rarity and the condition. A true collectors edition.
Also, this is one of those Soulman basses - if there's any more of these out there - which were featured a beautiful swamp ash body, not the regular ash. This baby is also light like feather: it's only 3,5 kilograms. Also has two MEC jazz bass pickups, 2 way MEC active electronics, ovangkol neck, rosewood fretboard, Framus Mini machine heads and Framus Classic bass bridge.
Shipped with GLS in a brand new Proel case, with all the paperworks, and gadgets that were given with it sixteen years ago... except the Surface Finisher, since I'll send a brand new box of it. So, here's your chance to have a true collector edition instrument: all you have to do is make a serious offer. Good luck!
