This particular guitar shows signs of respectful use and has great tone even unplugged! There are little to no imperfections on this. Just slight oxidation on the gold hardware from standard use. This guitar comes with a hard case. One latch is missing.

Built with tone woods selected for their beauty as well as their musicality, the Expressionist line covers the wide range of styles for which Ibanez hollow and semi-hollow bodies are known.

The full-hollow AG95QA features quilted ash top, back, and sides, and handsome ivory binding on the body, headstock, and fingerboard. An expertly crafted 3pc Maple/ Mahogany set-in neck ensures body liveliness and is fitted with a rich Ebony fretboard with silky contrasting pearl block inlays. The tortoise shell colored pickguard provides an gorgeous appearance.

Jazz fans will recognize the Ibanez original Super 58 Custom pickups—the preferred pickup of George Benson, Pat Metheny, and John Scofield used in their own signature models. These pickups provide warm, balanced articulation, and excellent response. Super 58s are at home in variety of genres.

GUITAR CONDITION RATINGS

All our guitars are graded per Reverb’s gear grading guide to help determine the condition of our guitars in a uniform fashion. (We have added the approximate percentage in each category as an additional measure). All of our guitars are preowned; they may show some type of usage and handling wear. All guitars have been tested for functionality and are playable; in some rare instances a guitar may need a small adjustment or set up. Any outstanding problems will be noted.

Also note: Condition ratings will only apply to the guitar and not the case. Cases are for protecting the valuable merchandise inside and will always show some kind of wear and tear.

Mint (Approx 98%)

For something to truly be mint, it needs to be just shy of Brand New. Mint items should include the original packaging in most cases. If there’s any sort of imperfection, the item should be listed in Excellent condition at best.

Excellent (95% to 97%)

When something’s been used a bit but is still close to new, you can file it under Excellent. For newer gear, Excellent items should be free from blemishes and other visual defects. For vintage items, there maybe some marks here and there, but the item is still in the top echelon when compared to similar examples. All Excellent items should be 100% functional in every way.

Very Good Plus (91% to 94%)

Very Good Plus is an added category to describe items between Very Good and Mint as VG items carry a vague description and group many lesser quality items in an overall category.

Very Good (80% to 90%)

Very Good describes items with perhaps a few more cosmetic imperfections than Excellent but is still in great condition overall. With a Very Good guitar, for example, you might find some scratches, buckle rash, or other minor blemishes but nothing that affects the playability or function of the instrument.

Good (70% to 79%)

Good condition includes items that are in fine working order but have some visual imperfections here and there. A pedal with scratches and dents on its chassis, a guitar with some cracks in the binding, or maybe an old snare drum with some corrosion on the lugs could all be classified as Good. All of these items work just fine but have enough visual imperfections to only be in the middle of the scale.

Fair (60% to 69%)

This would be where the various nicks and blemishes start to actually impact the function of the item. Fair items mostly work fine but maybe have some minor functional issues. Say you’ve got an old archtop that’s totally playable but has some neck warping that render some dead spots on the upper registers. This could be considered Fair.

Poor (50% to 59%)

Poor condition items have definite functional problems that will usually require some sort of repair. Perhaps this is an old acoustic guitar where the action is so high, it’s practically unplayable. Maybe it’s a keyboard where some of the keys just don’t work. It could an amp that powers on, but doesn’t generate any real volume.
