Bach Mercedes New York 67 Trumpet 1950

Arguably one of the best trumpets ever made, the Mercedes was described by Vincent Bach himself as being comparable to the prestigious Bach Stradivarius that the trumpet community knows so well. These early Bronx trumpets were made with such a quality that we rarely see today with much of the manufacturing being done outside of the United States now. As you can see from the pictures, it has had some love over the years, but the lacquer is the original lacquer although it is cosmetically worn significantly. This trumpet plays with almost no effort and a stellar sound that the lacquer wear has no effect on. Our in-house repair specialist just recently cleaned and serviced this amazing vintage piece of history so it’s 100% gig ready! Included is a hard shell case and mouthpiece.
