About This Listing

Super RARE "DOVE Ebony"

Rider J-300D Black by HAYASHI Momose-era

“Rider” is the brand that was produced by Japanese Luthier Momose when he belonged Hayashi in Matsumoto Japan. It is said that the brand made guitars for only a couple of years, and after that Mr.Momose has established HEADWAY.

This guitar has a custom color: Black Dove Ebony that is not in the catalog, and is especially rare in the phantom brand “Rider”. And that is like a Elvis’s Ebony custom Gibson Dove.

TOP: Spruce

NECK: Maple

F.BOARD: Rosewood

SPECIAL FEATURE: Dove pick guard for Black Finish

The splendor of the structure is also reflected in the sound. The balance between the firm and bright sound of the maple body and the generous bass sound of the large-capacity square shoulder body is the best. It seems that the adoption of a non-adjustable saddle similar to the 70s Gibson Dove greatly affects the sound. It is good to stroke "KING of R&R" by picking and is also good to play "Black Bird" with finger picking. It will make you almighty.

**There is a few cloudiness on head that peculiar to Japanese guitars in this era.

The overall condition as an instrument is superb.

There are some traces of past usage and aging, including dents.

We can guarantee that you will have a hard time finding this model again if you miss this one!
