About This Listing

1972 Fender Telecaster Bass

The Telecaster Bass was introduced in 1968 as a tribute to the slab style body reminiscent of the first Precision basses. Initially equipped with one single coil pickup like its predecessor, the Telecaster Bass was fitted with a massive Humbucking pickup in early 1972. The model was discontinued in 1979. Bronco Bob’s Telecaster Bass is the 1972 variant, and features a custom acrylic lacquer paint appointment known as “on the rocks” lime green.
