This is a super groovy, super unique, super awesome amp head from the late 60s or 70s. It features reverb, phase and a cool effect called "wave" which is kind of like a light fuzz effect. These "SG System" amps were built in El Monte, California by a division of C.M.I. (Gibson), and it stood for Standel / Gibson Series amp - and designed by Bob Crooks. The amp itself is pretty cool but the real gem of this amplifier is that it comes with a built in Maestro PS-1A Phase Shifter! One of the best phasers out there. These Maestro Phasers often sell for $500 on their own! The unit is pretty heavy to lift, but the sound is just as heavy to match! Very cool, retro sound. Only selling because I use a stand alone Maestro Phase Shifter and I feel like this is going to waste! Perfect working order, ready to play.
