Handcrafted by classical luthier Vicente Tatay in Valencia, Spain and imported through the Tatay family for sale in New York, this beautifully aged 1959 V. Tatay classical guitar still absolutely sings with the clear, crisp response of an ambered solid spruce top and warm, balanced resonance of solid bound mahogany back and sides. A rosewood fingerboard, bridge, binding, and headstock veneer makes this guitar equally at home on stage or in-session, with years of inspired, smooth playing ahead.
Notes:
This 1959 V. Tatay Solid Spruce/Mahogany Classical Guitar is in Very Good condition, with very light visible wear consistent with age and appropriate home use, including what appears to be a light pick scratch below bridge (pictured), and two small dings on treble side, lower bout (pictured). What appears to be faded nail polish marks 5th, 7th, and 9th frets, applied at some point in this instrument's life (pictured). Includes era-correct Goya hard case.
