Control Board for Gibson or Epiphone Les Paul guitars.  I bought this used but did something different with the guitar so selling.  Works as designed from the manufacturer - see details below for function and installation.  MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE NECESSARY GIBSON SWITCH, OUTPUT JACK AND PICKUP "QUICK CONNECT" CONNECTORS for proper installation.

Functional notes:

Scrinia Engineering makes excellent replacement boards for Gibson/Epiphone guitars, however this was their first board of this type so it has couple of "dead spots" (no signal in certain configurations) as noted below.  Also, I noticed that there is slight volume bleed when one volume is zero and the other is on 10 and the pickup on zero is selected only in certain situations, like high gain distortion pedal/amp on at the same time.  Scrinia confirmed this is also a characteristic of the early board, not a defect with this particular unit.  Scrinia now sells the MK II and MK III versions of this board which corrects all of this and has many other improvements.....However they generally sell for $200 or so, so here you have a chance to get most of that functionality, including coil split, trebble bleed, phase shift and more for a fraction of the price! Also for a lot less than a Gibson OEM 4 push-pull board.

(Note: Sharpie writing on the board indicating date (2018) and successful test is likely from the manufacturer)

From the Manufacturer:

"The Scrinia Engineering Jimmy Page Mark 1 Control PCB is Direct fit for both Epiphone and Gibson Les Paul guitars with 2 humbucker setup with coil split and has the Custom Pro option of Neck PU Phase shifting (Just as our Symphony Mark 5) - and adds the option of serial/parallel switching via the bridge Tone pot. Built around a proprietary low noise PCB with 4 top quality CTS push/pull potentiometers. This super versatile board accepts a wide variety of Epiphone and Gibson style connectors. Minimizes the need to modify your pickups (save you cost in the long run), and provides the option of being able to switch in and out pick-ups with Gibson and Epiphone connectors.
Also very importantly - this Control PCB will fit Epiphone and other Les Paul style guitars with the "clover-leaf" control cavity cut-out, with no (or VERY minimal) need for adjustments.
Shaft Diameter is 3/8". The Jimmy Page Mark 1 has CTS Gibson spec pots with 3/8" potentiometer shafts. These are way superior in quality to the European spec types used on Epiphone as standard and is a must have upgrade both for tone and durability. The Splines are fine tooth (24 tooth).
Fits right handed guitars only.

Included on the Scrinia Engineering Jimmy Page Mark 1 Control PCB for Les Paul is:

- CTS 500k Push/Pull (Coil Split) on Volume pots. -Custom taper for a smoother volume or tone control,Measured and selected to within 5% - CTS 500k Push/Pull (Phase shift) on Bridge Tone.  -Custom taper for a smoother volume or tone control, Measured and selected to within 5% - CTS 500k Push/Pull (Series/Parallel) on Neck Tone.  -Custom taper for a smoother volume or tone control, Measured and selected to within 5% - Gibson spec 5 Pin Quick Connector on Bridge. - Epiphone spec 5 Pin Quick Connect on Bridge - Gibson spec 5 Pin Quick Connector on Neck. - Epiphone spec 5 Pin Quick Connector on Neck. - PCB prepared for larger size tone capacitors in case user wants to change to different size - Gibson spec 5 way Switch connector on board - Gibson spec 2 way Output connector on-board - Screw terminal style GND/Bridge shield connector - NEW: Individually selectable (by Jumper) Treble Bleed on Bridge and Neck (* -Read description)
Comes with all associated mounting hardware. Everything is brand new.

Compatibility:
If you are installing into a Gibson guitars which currently has a control board: 100% compatible and no need for additional hardware.
If you are installing into Epiphone or other brands, or older Gibsons without control board: you are gong to need the following:
- 3 way pickup cable with Gibson spec black 5 pin connector - re-use your own switch. - Output cable with Gibson spec black 2-pin connector - re-use your output jack - Pickups must have either Epiphone or Gibson spec quick connectors, if not you'll need adapter

Functions of the board:
Bridge Volume - splits the Bridge pickup coils Neck Volume - splits the Neck pickup coils Bridge Tone - puts Bridge and Neck pickups ou of phase with each other Neck Tone - puts Bridge and Neck pickups in series together
Note that when series mode is selected a few things happen that will puzzle you -
1: if you have pickup selector in Treble(Bridge position: no output whatsoever. 2: Pickup selector in Rhythm/Neck or Both positions - no change between them - because we're in series mode hardwired/selected. 3: Volume and tone is controlled by Neck pots. 4: Bridge pots have no function in series mode. It's how it's supposed to work Jimmy style.
Too Many Sonic options and combinations to list - this is an audio options galore...

Treble Bleed circuits:

When you turn down the volume control on a vintage guitar, the tone changes too. The treble frequencies are attenuated, and the tone becomes somewhat dull. This is addressed by adding a Treble Bleed circuit. It essentially compensates for the treble loss that occurs when you turn down the volume on the pickup by "bleeding" or allowing a portion of the higher frequencies to pass through. This way you can maintain a better tone (less high frequency loss) even when you play subtle parts. We have chosen to make it selectable - and individually - on Neck and Bridge in recognition that some artists want to keep it vintage on some artworks. This feature will allow you to hear the difference and make up your own mind with just the jumper setting to change. We will not decide for you what is best - it is artistic preference - but we can guarantee you that once you have heard the difference, it is impossible to un-hear it.

And here's the kicker : your board has unused switches on the Volume push pull, so if you were to go nuts you can by adding 2 wires with a small jumper plug - choose to have the Treble Bleed activated for single coil selection only while keeping it "vintage" for Humbucking - heck! or vice/versa!! Without making permanent changes.

Note: Damage to potentiometer shafts: The CTS push pull pots are the toughest in the industry. However if removal of speed knobs is done without holding the shaft (counter hold) any potentiometer can and will be damaged. "
