PRS Paul Reed Smith USA Single-cut - Tremolo "Black Cherry + Rosewood" (2007).

I've played quite a few PRS guitars over the past few years, but have somehow always managed to miss crossing paths with the Singlecut's since they were introduced. And of course, now there are tons of new ones being produced - i remember when the PRS Single-cut was on hold by court injunction, thanks to the litigious leanings of a certain instrument maker who shall remain nameless (ok, just one clue - starts with a G and ends in "ibson.") But in a stroke of luck, I recently acquired this beauty.

Of course, PRS has built a business upon refining the LP-Strat hybrid concept, but the Singlecut represents a sharp turn into Les Paul territory. It is by no means an LP ripoff - it is a guitar with the feel and vibe of a Les Paul, but with PRS refinements that make it an instrument unique unto itself. The first thing you will notice is the precision feel of the fretboard. Other features include, 25 inch scale length with 10 inch fretboard radius, Wide Fat neck carve, PRS #6 Treble and Bass pickups, one volume and one tone controls with 3-way toggle on the lower bout. Plays beautifully as do most PRS guitars.

As you can see from the pictures, this PRS sports a carved flamed one piece Maple top. The body itself is solid Mahogany, as is the set neck. The fretboard is Rosewood, and is inlaid with dot inlays. This is an absolutely beautiful instrument. Condition is Mint with not so much as a surface swirl (Please refer to pictures) Includes original hard-shell case, and original  case candy.
