Pre modified so it is simply plug and play with the floppy cable already in your DX7 IIFD. The DX7IIFD Floppy Emulator requires a hardware modification before shipping. We do the modification as-needed, as a result depending on our order volume we usually are able to get these shipped within 2 days, no more than 3 days. The higher cost vs our other emulators is due to this. Comes preloaded with about 500 blank disks and two disks of patches which can be used to restore either a plain DX7II or an E!
