1980 Fender Precision Special Bass Neck. I recently purchased this neck on Reverb, but a new project has come up and I’d hate for this neck to sit around and not be used.
The store I purchased from bought a huge lot of Fender parts from a former G&L/Fender employee. The headstock face is natural, usually all Precision Specials has body matching head stocks. The low serial #E010002 and neck stamp date the neck to 1980.
The neck is signed in pencil by master neck shaper Herb Gastelum. These options point towards a special 1 off neck.
Truss rod turns and works as it should. Finish is intact and original on the back of the neck and front and back of the headstock.
