Zon Custom 2000 Sonus 5-string Bass US Made [Bartolini Switchable Mid Range Preamp Upgrade]

Model has been confirmed by Zon customer service via its serial number to be the previous configuration of the Custom 5 model, was built in March 2000, and is U.S. made.

Near-mint condition, zero dings whatsoever, plays and records fantastically, never gigged.  

As far as playability, it is a Zon.  But in case you don’t know a Zon, the playability is actually shocking.  The sustain is infinite. The action has never needed to be adjusted. It’s a Zon.

As far as sound, it has Zon specific 3 band Bartolini’s. The preamp upgrade is incredible and adds nearly unlimited sound sculpting.  Perfectly clear signal (mind blowing when matched with fresh batteries and a good cable). The original circuit board is included.

Honestly, it is the perfect bass.

I’ve been playing and teaching guitar and bass for 25 years, and this is the nicest instrument I’ve ever played.  I'm ONLY getting rid of it because I have young kids and not enough time.  Not interested in trades.

Comes with a new set of coated GHS boomers, the original electronics, and a solid shell case for free (case has some warping and scratches). Will ship with fresh batteries.
