The Gibson Limited-Edition SG Standard takes the company’s most popular model of all time—the SG—and gives it a regal Rose Gold finish. Seriously stunning, this SG Standard is also sonically superior with dual 490 ‘buckers. Think vintage tones with a modern edge. Made in Music City, USA, the Limited-Edition SG Standard is outfitted with chrome hardware and gold accents, proving that on this guitar, bling is a good thing. It’s an ideal instrument for a player who doesn’t want to rock the standard rig, but instead wants to stand out, be seen and be heard.

Classic Body Construction Gibson crafts the SG Standard in Nashville, Tennessee with mahogany—a Gibson body staple from the earliest days in Kalamazoo. The limited-edition finish is Rose Gold, shot in gloss nitro. This is a guitar that comes to life under stage lights.
A Neck with a Modern Feel The neck is also mahogany, and is a set-in design for maximum string-to-body resonance. A SlimTaper profile makes for fast fretting across the rosewood fretboard.
Classic Gibson Tones The Limited-Edition SG Standard in Rose Gold has two 490T/R humbuckers. Built with lower-output alnico II magnets, the ‘buckers are smooth and warm, with a rounded low-end response and high-end sparkle. Mids are more pronounced to fit into more modern musical contexts.
Solid, Dependable Hardware A fixed tune-o-matic bridge makes intonation a breeze; for string height adjustments, just turn the thumbwheels. A stopbar tailpiece and vintage-style tuners complete the package. All hardware is chrome with gold accents.
The Gibson Limited-Edition SG Standard in Rose Gold has a GraphTech nut, medium jumbo frets, and comes with a hardshell case.
