Berlin Modular 16n Faderbank with Case! Eurorack CV/Midi/USB/i2C

An absolutely awesome and extremely versatile controller that I wanted two of so hired a professional builder to make a small batch. i2c Ready, tested and ready to ship! With stand alone wooden case painted black but it can easily be removed from the case to be put into eurorack systems.  Power by Eurorack power or micro usb cable (Which is included.). If you don't want the case I can remove it and send without the case and deduct $10.

16n Berlin Modular Edition

Description:

The 16n Berlin Modular edition redesigned by AtoVproject improves on the original concept by upgrading the hardware design. The original 16n is a fader bank sending CV, I2C, MIDI jack compatible with all standards, USB MIDI (compatible PC, Mac, iPad etc…) , making it the absolute ultimate controller for any of your hardware and software all in one!

Improvements:

-Updated power section thanks to isolated USB power supply, proper voltage reference, and upgraded filtering. This greatly reduces the noise on the outputs. (Measured at less than 6mV)

-Selectable 5v or 10V outputs: Each can be configured to output either 10V or 5V using a dip switch on the back of the module (even when using 5V USB power supply)

-Outputs facing upwards: The outputs will be directly on the front panel reducing the footprint and making outputs much more accessible

-Eurorack compatible: You would be able to mount the 16n as a 50hp module in your rack and power it from your own power supply. (+12V=42mA, -12V=0mA) (There is a switch on the back of the module to switch between Eurorack and USB power mode.)

-I2C connector on the PCB to simplify connection to modules like the ER301

I pack well, test before shipping and only sell good stuff. I usually have a bunch of other gear for sale and can often do a discount for multiple purchases that can be shipped together. Please write in advance if interested in Local pickup for bigger items, I live near Silverlake in Los Angeles but would prefer mailing smaller stuff then to try and arrange a meeting with someone who possibly lives an hour away and it will cost them more in gas, mileage and time stuck in traffic then shipping would be.             The sale and shipping prices are what they are for a reason  if you do not think the combined sales price and shipping price is a good deal then please just do not buy it and just buy someone else’s…the beauty of reverb is that if you are patient the item you are looking for will most likely come up cheaper one day. If something doesn’t sell then I will eventually lower it or keep it. Yes, the shipping prices seem high and there is a long logical explanation for that and it is due to my internal accounting. On the plus side you as the buyer do not get charged sales tax for shipping. So if an item was $95 and $5 shipping, and you are in California where the sales tax is 10% then you have to pay 10% sales tax of 95, if the item is 75 and shipping is 25 then you only have to pay 10% sales tax on the $75 item cost, which saves the buyer a few bucks in the end. I know I am not price gouging with the listing prices and I always make sure that the combined shipping cost and purchase price is amongst the lowest for that item, and usually the lowest without trying to undercut other reverb shops and annoy them by pushing the values down of gear they are also trying to sell. Please remember that this website is a community of like minded musicians most of which are just selling gear to buy other gear, no one is getting rich selling gear here and if you are buying gear here you want to save money so probably aren't rich, so let’s just be nice to each other and not treat each other like we are in Guitar Center. I totally understand wanting to get things for a low price but if something seems to high just set an alert for that item and fingers crossed it will show up soon as it probably will eventually.
