Plug in the Fuego Hotrod and you will feel the rich gain and deep resonance. Guitarists universally agree that low wattage amps don't deliver the tight bottom end of 100W heads, so we redesigned our power amp, utilizing custom transformers, extremely clean power to and increased rail to rail swing to deliver the tight low end of “Big Bottle” designs.

The “Hi” Gain channel is designed to replicate the Classic “Jose” and “Cameron” modded marshals that defined the “Brown Sound” coupled with a reworked power section to deliver the low-end push of a big bottle power sections. The tone stack frequency control and active presence imbibe the tone stack with a huge range of control.

Hi-Gain
In High Gain mode switch with the tone stack in “modern mode” turn the bass down, scoop the active mid control and turn the presence to 3 o'clock to get that classic brown “sound” . Lower the presence and treble and turn the low end up for a crunchy modern high gain, or increase the bass and crank the mids for an incredibly thick vocal lead tone. Lo-Gain
Engage the “Lo”-gain button and switch over to a vintage tone-stack mode for a looser low end and rounded treble perfect for 70's rock or blues, or stay in modern mode turn the gain and presence down for touch-sensitive overdrive
Clean
Crank up the gain and volume for everything from AC/DC to SRV types tones, as you increase the gain the clean channel starts to become open, then crunchy, back off the presence for a warmer feel.

Swap to a bright mode and adjust the presence to replicate vintage top boost tones perfect for neck humbuckers or turn down the gain and presence for a warmer rounder character for jazz."
