One API 7600 fully tested and cleared for use by API within the last month (photocopy of invoice included).

First couple of photos are from official site, followed by the unit for sale (in the rack). Each 7600 will also come with the pictured API branded 100mm P&G fader and both vertical as well as horizontal face plates.

It will be shipped in an official API shipping box which was designed for shipping their 1U super heavy modules. These are $27/each and can only be bought from API. If you want to ship to API and not have to buy one from them to get your module back - you'll need to own one of these boxes. Each module I sell comes with one of these boxes.

A bit more about this channel strip and it's history & my opinions about it:

This is a very fine piece of kit and is more functional than “API the channel strip” which they sell now for $2845+ tax, which is supposed to be the same thing but it's not.

When you like a 7600 up to a 7800 master module you have access to 4 busses and 4 six sends per channel as well as solo, mute, etc - full console features.

From the pictures you can see this is currently used in a 30 channel API sidecar.

10 channels of 7600s, I’ve decided I only need 4.

16 channels of 8200s (those are the line input only modules)

This kit has done everything from actual hifi live shows, band tracking, classical tracking, it’s currently living in a mix room as the “drums and bass/lowend” portion of the “console.”

These modules may be “vintage” in a way, but they have been fully serviced by API during December. All 10 units were given a full test and calibration as well as some parts being replaced by the API techs. So you will have no worries about “defects” or noise or uncalibrated pots or LEDs that are out etc.

It’ll be like you went back in time and bought it from API new. Except without a box and the cosmetics aren’t new :)

A little about the high price of this listing:

These 7600 modules have a pretty large range of costs. These would be among the highest quality available for used sale due to their recent compete service. Each module will also come with the dual faceplates allowing vertical or horizontal racking. They are currently setup for vertical racking.

Each module will also come with the high quality 100mm P&G fader with the API branded faceplate show in the pictures.

If you have a preference on which of the 10 modules shown in the picture has your desired “cosmetics” you can tell me which one to send.

They are numbered and “labeled” with a channel name. Either designation is fine. I’ll send the buyer whichever they choose.

Here’s some copy from API’s website:

The API 7600 Input Module offers studios of all sizes a whole new range of options without sacrificing quality. The 7600 strip forms the basis of a build-as-you-need-it, high quality recording console. It is the perfect choice for project studios who want high performance console sound, but have limited channel needs or budget constraints, and professional studios that want to add more channels to their existing desk through the addition of a side car.

The API 7600 fits into one rack space unit and it includes a genuine API mic pre, a compressor and a real 550A EQ right out of the glory days of rock 'n roll. The 7600 mic pre is the same 212L mic pre used in the Legacy Consoles. The EQ is an exact re-issue of the famed 550A, offering 3 bands of EQ with 7 frequency choices per band. The compressor is the 225L, the same one found in the all-discrete Legacy Console currently in production.
The 7600 comes complete with an internal power supply, and is the basis for building a 4, 8, or 16 channel professional sounding API console.
Features:
• Complete API input strip with bussing
• API 2520 Op-Amp
• API 212L Mic Preamp, 225L Compressor
• Re-issue of the famed 550A EQ
• Four Aux sends, Pre or Post fader assignable
• Four busses
• Stereo bus with internal rotary fader
• Solo, SIP, Mute, Insert, Polarity, and Compressor Link
• Complete patching facilities on rear panel
• External fader jack
• Three 7 segment LED VU displays
• Output clips at +30 dBm

US shipping in API packaging $80
Outside shipping in API packaging $110

Condition: Take a look at the photos, cosmetically these all look great. I'll give you your choice from the photos. Electrically they're completely sound - per API.

I am aware my, Shipping costs are quite high. This is literallly what I'm paying, it includes full insurance, these are VERY heavy items because they're so complex and have so much amplification and so many transformers.
