Own a unique piece of guitar history! This guitar has an incredible story: LR Baggs, the reknown guitar pickup designer and inventor once lived in LA and built some custom guitars in his younger days, after lots of experiments taking apart damaged guitars from a local music store.  One day he talked his friend Ry Cooder into buying one of his guitars.  Later, a Takamine executive was visiting Ry in LA, and was interested in picking his brain about various guitars, and his creative electronic pickup configurations. Later. . . . .newer Takamine guitars started coming out with the exact same headstock design as Ry's . . . . LR Baggs custom guitar!!! When Baggs was asked about it, he replied that after talking with the Takamine folks, he made a trade: "Send me 10 of your latest guitar pickups, and you can keep the design!"  And so. . . . . . history was made, and LR Baggs developed probably the best and most advanced acoustic guitar pickups of all time, by giving up his headstock design! Now, you can own one of these historic guitars: made in Korea, and obviously a much cheaper version of Ry's original guitar. . . . still, a decently made, early electronics guitar, with a nice 'sunburst' shaded finish, new Gator case. . . . . and a great story to go with it!
