Great sounding amp at any volume. The Master control is really incredible, making this a terrific bedroom or gigging amp. Plenty loud to keep up with a drummer, but also saturates nicely at low volumes and you can clean up your tone easily with the guitar’s volume knob. Very responsive.

Really versatile amp. Takes pedals very well.

Home use only, never gigged. Non smoking home.

I'm downsizing some gear and this amp greatly exceeds my needs as an occasional bedroom player these days.

The Orangutan Jr has loads of gain on tap for all your Marshall-style small amp fantasies. The tone is rich and dynamic though, sparkly when you roll back and full or bark when you roll up the volume knob of your guitar. Play anything from a Stonesy-swagger to an AC/DC crunch, to an almost Brown sounding rock fest. Did we mention it has reverb too? Not some sloppy wet surf crap- just enough to add a little ambience to your sound.

This is an all new amp model, with its roots in the circuit of its big brother The Orangutan.

This little guy has two cathode biased 6V6 power tubes and three 12AX7 preamp tubes. Controls are VOLUME, TREBLE, BASS, REVERB, and MASTER. It also has a foot switchable BOOST (which bypasses the bass control, similar to the LIFT on The Orangutan). At around 15W this is the perfect amp for the small stage, studio, or bedroom.
