The Hollywood Brass Diamond Edition from EastWest is a comprehensive brass virtual instrument that provides complete control over the players, and includes a complete range of playing techniques. The collection was produced by Doug Rogers, Nick Phoenix, and Thomas Bergersen, and engineered by the award-winning Shawn Murphy. The samples were recorded in EastWest Studio 1, widely regarded as a great brass-recording room. The Diamond edition separates itself from the Gold version in several key ways. First, it provides 24-bit samples for an increased and more fluid dynamic range. Secondly, the Diamond edition offers five mic positions, where the Gold edition only provided one.
