About This Listing

Hornet Jr #406 is another of my Jr series, which features a stripped down and more affordable handmade guitar. It is a design that combines a F-style bolt-on neck with a G-style hardware and scale setup into flat out fun.

The body on this guitar is Northern white ash with a transparent white acrylic on top and Danish oil around the sides and back, it is dense and hard and meaty.

The neck is a straight F-style design of maple with a flamey maple fretboard: 24-3/4” scale / 12” radius and 1-11/16” Delrin nut with 24 Jescar 47104 frets and Gotoh tuners. The carve is a medium / large C; it is full but not especially chunky, easy and comfortable.

Being a Jr style it has one of my killer handwound p90s along with a nice intonatable Wilkinson aluminum wraptail bridge, CTS volume and tone / Switchcraft jack.

Please endure my bad playing and watch the video to hear what it sounds like.
