Darüber hinaus besitzt der Markbass TTE 501 einen röhren-getriebenen Kompressor, der es erlaubt Einfluss auf die Dynamik zu nehmen, wobei das Spektrum vom subitilen Glätten ungleichmäßiger Pegel bis hin zum deutlich vernehmbaren Pumpen reicht.
