Denon PMA-980R 1992 Integrated Amplifier 90 wpc Pure Analog, ~ MINT and Complete ~ Rare and Special!

Here is a superb two channel stereo pure analog integrated amplifier, built in Japan in 1992, by Denon. This is a one owner example in perfect operating condition and it is like new in appearance. The PMA-980R pushes a conservatively rated 90 watts per channel at 8 ohms, using Optical Class A amplification. Total harmonic distortion is a tiny 0.007% (-3dB at rated output, 8 ohms). Vinyl lovers will be delighted by the rich and detailed phono stage in this turntable friendly amp, which features front panel switching for moving magnet or moving coil cartridge pre-amplification. Inputs and outputs for two recording decks with a dubbing switch. A "source direct" option allows you to bypass the preamp stage completely for the most clean and direct signal path. Subsonic filter, a loudness contour switch for fuller sound at low volume, and outputs for two sets of speakers. LED's on the source direct, speaker selector, and on the volume knob. The volume knob has a motorized assist so the knob actually rotates on its own when the volume is adusted via the remote control.

From the estate of a Seattle audiophile, this beautiful like new very gently used amp will go to its new owner with the original printed owner's manual and the very full featured original Denon RC-151 remote control (which can also control other components in the system). Built at the zenith of Denon analog hifi, this great amp will outperform many modern "boutique" amps selling for many times the price of this nearly thirty year old vintage classic. You will not find a more immaculate example of this great model.
