This guitar was not played for 40 years. The frets are like new. I purchased it from the original owner a nice doctor with all the tags and Certification papers, hardware and accessories included originally in 1979. This is the very first Fender custom shop guitar ever produced. This guitar has rock maple neck. comes with a hardshell case. It is closest to mint condition you will find. there is a very small amount of pick scrape wear on the pick guard, but everything else about the guitar is immaculate. The finish is perfect, with no scuffs scrapes or bruises. the neck is untouched, and the hardware looks like it's brand new! Everything is original, and mint. The guitar has absolutely no greening to the finish, as this model tended to be affected by UV exposure. Has  one small unnoticeable ding on the bottom as shown in last photo. Other than that this guitar has been preserved in very good conditionYou will not find one of these in more immaculate condition. It is over 40yrs old now. Sounds better than any other strat I own. I am selling this guitar as it came in the case 40 plus years ago. This was the very first time the Fender Custom Shop did a special guitar. No mods done. All original.
