Here's the breakdown of the amp. Diamond Amps characterizes this amp as a 2.5 channel amp. The clean channel is a very good clean tone, loves pedals. With Humbuckers, it's warmer, not a real "shimmery" or "glassy" tone. But very clean! I don't really use effects like chorus, flange, etc. never really tried it with that. For versatility sakes, this really is a versatile amp. It has the 2 stages of the gain side for a great crunch and a great lead sound. The EQ controls are very dynamic. You can really dial in a great tone.
One great feature is the 'low focus' knob on the back that really creates great control to shape and tighten up the low end on how you are using the gain.
