A True American Blues Machine. In some ways it really doesn't get any better than this for creating the blues. This guitar sounds amazing, with deep basses and singing trebles. Think 1950's Mississippi Delta meets Chicago, a poor man's Gibson ES175. This hard to find (only made from 1956-1959) H52 has had a neck reset, and has comfortable, but not chunky, 'C' shaped maple neck with a 1 3/4" nut, 2 11/16" depth sides, and is 15 3/4" wide. Playability is very easy thanks to the comfortable shape and contour of the neck. The P13 pickup is gone, but in its place is a Kleenex box single coil that sounds a lot like a P90. The guitar is responsive acoustically or plugged in due to its carved solid spruce top and solid maple back and sides. There is some separation at the bindings and stable cracks in the 60 year old maple that could be surface glued, see the pictures for details. This guitar is not perfect, but how many 65 year olds are? Overall the guitar is in good shape and ready to play. Ships in a MBT hard case to lower 48 States. Please feel free to ask any questions.
