Hello and welcome to The House of Chrome.

If you're looking for an old rarer microphone in which to display or use as a prop mic then this might be an affordable option for you?

This microphone is a rare variant of the popular Electro Voice 623 dynamic microphone known as the Executone EXLL-P and sold under license during the 1950's.

The EXLL-P microphones are much rarer than the Electro Voice 623's though they are identical in every way except that Excecutone painted their mics as where E.V had the polished chrome finish. Clean, modern, simplistic...the EXLL-P was a good "general purpose" mic and it had a strong, clear signal set at high Z. It comes with the desk stand shown as well.

The stock painted body was a unique Executone signature look. Some came in brown while this one has the mint green scheme. This example has typical lite cosmetic wear. There are just small scratches and a few scuff marks located on much of the mic. The tip looks pretty good with a few small paint chips but it's free of any dents or fractures. The badge shows just lite wear and completely legible.

This EXLL-P has a unique mint green stock painted body with gold accents.

I try to provide the clearest pictures possible so you know exactly what you're getting. 100% original including the inner dynamic element. The on / off switch slides smooth. No issues. The joint mechanism works perfectly with plenty of adjustable tension and the threads for both the cable and stand are perfect. This mic takes a standard screw on 4 pin cable which is not included. This would be a good operating mic if one was to ever replace the element.

This would make a very fine addition to any vintage microphone collection due to it's nice physical appearance.

I would rate this mic a conservative 7 on a scale of 1 - 10. The mic will screw onto any boom arm, desk or floor stand as well though one is provided.

MICROPHONE STAND IS PART OF THIS SALE...

The stand is a newer Chinese model made of metal and has the stock flat black paint scheme. It looks very similar to the older 1930's and 1940's era stands with it's multi tier waterfall design. It makes an excellent platform for the D4T mic and will do a good job of keeping the mic upright where it belongs. The stand has no signs of wear and comes with the 5 inch painted riser.

There are 3 new felt pads on the bottom of the base.

Total dimensions with mic and stand are 8 1/2 inches tall (when mic is lowered fully) X 4 1/2 inches wide. When mic is raised up completely it's appx 12 inches tall.

As with all my other vintage microphones...

I can promise you will be happy with it for the price paid. If not...I have a no hassle return policy. The return shipping will be on you as I believe that's fair but the purchase price would be refunded. Simply return in the same nice condition...period. Check my rating. If you don't intend on buying this...do not commit to buy please. Domestic buyer will get priority shipping.

If you have any questions feel free to ask and...thanks for looking.
